JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Jessica: Nothing - you had to find stuff in your cell to do. You either
watched TV, played cards, wrote notes, read a book or slept. Cassie: T.V and cards
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Jessica: Yes, we all agreed on what to watch on TV. There was really no
competition, otherwise the TV was shut off for the rest of the day. Cassie: all s girls always watched the same thang
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Jessica: Yes, there was nothing to do unless you walked back and forth in
your cell and at times that was hard to do because there was so
many other inmates there and they fed foods that were high in
carbs.
Cassie: no im 4months pregnant my shap is going out the
window lol
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Jessica: The only time that I got to go outside was when I went to court.
They have a parking garage for the police cars. They park the
car in there. I got in the car, they drove to the courthouse about
200 feet from the door and took me inside and when I left the
courthouse they took me back to the jail and parked in the
garage and took me back inside. This happened 2 times in the
total of 75 days I was in jail. Cassie: not at all because its geting cold out
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Jessica: No, they did not offer church service. If you wanted your personal
minister to come to the jail they had to be on your visiting list, they
could only come one day a week and that was also counted as your
weekly visit so you had to choose between your family or your
minister. Cassie: I dont know I wasnt there for sunday, i got
transfered to another jail
