JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Greg: Dominos and checkers spades watch t.v. There is a exercise
yard though Ive never seen it.as far as passing time you can
read are write letters to those on your mind .for the most part
if you wanna play most of the time its a barter system kinda
like gambling.
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Greg: There was no lack of entertainment .T.V. on the other hand
was black chooses one day white chooses the next day.but
usually there are more blacks so unless you feel like throwing
blows they get their way not all blocks were this hard I was in a
block were everyone else was going to prison not a good idea
to say your tough when asked upon booking.
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Greg: Yes. It's that simple this place does nothing to help keep
someone in shape you must find your own way.
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Greg: Go outside that's like a bad joke you consider yourself lucky if
you can look out a window.you can use the picknick style
tables for pushups walk to one side do your reps walk to the
other side and do your reps.
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Greg: I was told there was no form of church services .I did hear bible
songs are at least what sounded like hyms being sung I have
no idea as to where though.
