Meals

Interview with Greg

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Greg: There were three meals offered a day.although for the first couple of days I couldn't eat when you get hungry anything will do.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Greg: On a scale of 1 thru 10 I would give it a -5 I have lived on the streets (homeless) and had better food.bologna sandwich twice a day sometimes and that was the edible food .used to be able to get ramen and other edibles from commisary now it's outrageous prices and smaller sizes.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Greg: Some of these questions are the same .my least favorite meal was everything for the first couple of days after hunger sets in almost anything is edible I had no favorite food even when I was hungry the food still tasted like it wasn't fit for human consumption.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Greg: Yes there was commisary offered although it's very expensive instead of a container of peanut butter you get a ketchup sized packet if you need to see the nurse (even if you were in a fight and jumped) the money comes out of your acct. So it makes it really difficult to even stay nourished if you have a medical card your money will still be taken off your acct.
