Inmates

Interview with Chuck and Blake

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Chuck: No, not necessarily.
Blake: No I didn't find it difficult to get along with the other inmates I just stayed to myself mostly, but you can't act like your scared I just minded my own businesses.

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Chuck: I didn't talk to anybody and I kept to myself.
Blake: You pick and choose just what it is your willing to fight or argue over. I kept to myself, didn't try to make any attachments or join any cliques, I didn't get into petty stuff like what to watch on TV or who got next on a phone and no betting on anything.

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Chuck: No.
Blake: The jail was over populated so the set up bunk beds in the middle of the tier. I was only there for 42 days but my bunky left and I got a new one so once in 41 days.
