Interview with Ezekiel

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Ezekiel: THERE WERE FIVE OR SIX DIFFERENT BLOCKS.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Ezekiel: YES FIRST YOU HAD THE NEW MAN BLOCK,AND THEN THER WAS BLOCKS 2A AND 2B THEN THERE WAS BLOCK 3A THE DRUG UNIT THEN THERRE WAS THE 4 BUILDING AND THE TOWER THEN YOU HAD THE KITCHEN AND THE HOLE

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Ezekiel: WELL FIRST YOU WENT TO NEW MAN BLOCK THEN THEY PLACED YOU WHERE THEY THOUGHTYOU WOULD FIT,-2A AND 2B WERE FOR THE HARD NOSE TROUBLE MAKERS ,3 WAS THE DRUG UNIT AND THE 4 BUILDINGWAS FOR THE OK CRIMINALS AND OF CORSE YOU HAD ADSEG.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Ezekiel: WELL3A WASGOOD BECAUSE OF THE DRUG COUNCILING. 2A AND 2B WERE FOR THE UNRULY TYPE PEOPLE. THE 4 BUILDING ,YOU HAD A LOT OF FREE TIME ,BUT YOU STILL HAD TO GO TO AA OR NA MEETINGS TO KEEP YOUF GOOD TIME. THE ADSEG WAS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LOVED TO FIGHT AND DRISRUPT THE UNITS
