Good Behavior
Interview with Sam
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Sam: I do not recall if I was released with any good behavior time or not,
although I did not cause any trouble while I was there.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Sam: I do not recall that information.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Sam: The staff was very unfair and thoughtless to our health and safety.
It was hard not to mouth off to the guards sometimes, and even
some of the other inmates. I am sure that days credited for good
behavior could be lost, or even a new charge could be issued if an
inmate used a harassing tone or action with a guard or other
inmate.
