Visitor Policy

Interview with Lillie

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Lillie: Visitors could come to see inmates on Wednesday or Saturday. Only one day per week

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Lillie: Yes, my Aunt and ex boyfriend came to see me and said it took them over a hour and a half to get through the process.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Lillie: There was a very small room with metal stools, a big, thick window with a telephone at each stool. The visitors sat at a stool on the opposite side of the window, and you would use the phones to tall through. The phones were not very good and you could barely hear what the person was saying
