JM: How many different blocks were there? Allie: For the women there are only 2. For the men, I
think there are 20. Jason: i was only in housing unit 7 and housing unit 9
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they? Allie: They are called housing units and they are
identified by numbers. Jason: no they were just call tears and housing units thats
it.
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks? Allie: Women are in 1 and 2. 1 is medical, probation
holds and medassess, max security. 2 is general
population and working unit for in house work.
I don't know too much about the mens. I know
they have a total lockdown units and a few
working units. The rest is general population. Jason: in my unit we had a lot of people who took meds and
it was basically the Norte unit split custody
minimum security and max security tears were ran at
different intervults
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? Allie: In housing unit 1, the deputies were extremely
disrespectful and mean and really harsh.
Housing Unit 2 had more privileges and were
locked down less. There was an exercise bike in
housing unit 1. Jason: the worst part was the fact that it was sooooo
boring i haveing no cards and no action is very
simple and for the most part predictable. alltho its
a good thing it dosnt make the time go bye fast at
all. the good thing is they show really great movies
on saturdays
