Interview with Allie and Jason
JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Allie: My sentence was 1-4 years in prison and/or $5000
fine, and it was suspended to 1-5 years of
probation.
Jason: 120 days county time in full
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Allie: No, I was in a large waiting area. I had access
to the phones and peanut butter sandwiches. I
sat in a room with a bunch of chairs with other
people. While you are there you get booked in,
get jail clothes and they take all your stuff.
Then they take you to the unit you will live
in. You go to an area for about 4 days where
you are medically cleared to go to general
population.
Jason: no i did not i was sitting in a room the whole time
and immediatly afterwards me and the other man i was
with were brung to the van and transported to the
county jail.
