Interview with Tom
JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Tom: To me it wasn't a financial thing. Actually
writing letters and trying to visit keeps your
sanity because it gives you something to look
forward to. Try to set up as many visits as
possible and be writing letters telling them
you're going to be there when they get out.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Tom: I tell them to keep their mouth shut and follow
through until you're able to feel comfortable
enough to make friends. I would just stay quiet,
stay the course.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Tom: No others.
