Visitor Policy

Interview with Diana

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Diana: I would receive visitors about twice a month. You were allowed one a day unless you were locked back.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Diana: The check-in process varied some time it was quick, some times lengthy, other times visits were refused. I became aware that they were cutting visits short when it suited them to do so.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Diana: The visiting environment was off of the recreation area in a small room with three television monitors set up and a phone next to them. There was little to no privacy and the background noise of the recreation area could be noisy at times. The view on the screens were not clear and were not properly adjusted for viewing.
