Interview with Janet

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Janet: we got three meals a day.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Janet: I think there food was over all pretty good. they done there best to provide different meals so that we were not eating the same thing all the time. we got good portions of food along with a piece of cake or cookie with each meal. usually had enough to save some for a snack for later.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Janet: lunch was usually good, favorite was the mashed potatoes that was real and sliced turkey and gravy. breakfast was other one with cereal or oatmeal.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Janet: no other snacks were served. commissary was decent priced for snacks some was expensive but could budget and get a lot for money if done right. hygiene and under clothing was costly to buy if needed.
