Jimmie: you are not allowed to bring any clothes in they take your clothes and put them in a bag when you get there and issue you clothes
Jack: you are not allowed to bring any thing in to jail. Any thing xtra you want yo have to buy it from them.
David: The only clothes of you own you were allowed to where was your underwhear I belive
Rhonda: None

Mike: NONE, you are issued all clothing necessary including shoes, socks and underwear, jumpsuit. Everyone receives two sets.
Leo: none
Liz: The only clothes that could be brought in to wear are white t shirts and white socks.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Nicole: yes. orange scrubs.
Toby: In jail it was either an orange jumpsuit or two piece or a hamburgler uniform if you were on lockdown or segregation. In prison it was just gray pants and shirt ( also made by inmates at another prison and sold to each prison for $60 a set.) I was privy to all of the inner working because the prison officials needed someone that could figure out how to juggle their books for the scams on the taxpayers.
Donald: The shirt and pants were orange. The shoes were like flip flops. The clothes were comfortable enough to were. I think the clothing was cotton.
Manuel: The issued you too orange scrub type pants and shirts 2 socks and boxers and a pair of flip flops and a thirst if you are lucky
Jimmie: they were bright orange scrubs style pants and shirts flip flops and used underwear maybe a t-shirt and socks if they had any but they were far and few between
Jack: I was issued a towel , one pair of socks. Two smock shirts and two smock pants. Also issed a pair of sandals. Also one under shirt
David: The uniform we wore was a orange suit tops and bottoms and some were jump suits so it just depended what you got I think
Rhonda: orange shirt orange pants, panties and bra someone else had already wore.
Paul: Orange shirt that was to small and over that was a orange v neck made out of the same material as the pants. The underwear was a very thin material. The pants were very short on me and to big in the waist. They were made out of a hard cloth the socks were very small and were very itchy made out of wool I believe. The flip flops were all plastic and everybody wanted my good pair.
Mike: Orange jumpsuit. Appeared to look like hospital scrubs, v-neck, only a top pocket on the shirt. No pants pockets. Shower shoes were the issued shoe. White socks and white undies.
Leo: orange jumpsuit
Liz: We had to wear white t shirts, white socks, sandals they gave us and an really, really bright orange jump suit while I was there.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Nicole: new.
Toby: New grays or oranges but you can forget about a noob getting these. The inmates that work in supply sell these to other inmates so they can all look their best and be cool while serving time. I always found the prospect hilarious myself but I had new sets eventually.
Donald: Not that I know of. I just wore what I was issued.
Manuel: Socks were hard to come by and t shirts are nice to have
Jimmie: socks and t-shirts are short on supply and nice to have because the pods are cold
Jack: You dont get to look for your own clothes but I guess it would be socks and undershirts
David: I have no idea we were orang jump suits I dont no
Rhonda: boxers cause only the guys where suppose to have them
Paul: In high demand were the flip flops that were assigned.
Mike: Yes, the inmates that work on the trustee jobs were given Deck shoes (tennies)
Leo: no
Liz: White t shirts. . There were never enough to go around.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Nicole: some tops for women were more tapered than the mens.
Toby: No
Donald: No it was all the same
Manuel: Yes the woman tops are a lil different but the same color orange
Jimmie: the womens shirts were a little different up top but pretty much the same
Jack: No it wasn't different at all.
David: I thin the clothing was the same
Rhonda: NO except under ware
Paul: No
Mike: No, there were no differences.
Leo: no
