Interview with Brandon

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Brandon: they gave us basic stuff,more basic than you would give anyone else. I believe I had 4 sets of uniforms and 4 sets of underwear. everything else had to be bought. the shoes they give you are getting worse and worse. Everything is hand me downs from past people

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Brandon: The first set of cloths I received were holey and not in the religious manor. I had to go back and get different thing 3 or 4 times before I could get anything that was decent. They all had other peoples numbers on them. They had inmates issuing clothing, so friends got the good stuff, newbies got crap

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Brandon: Its not cloths, but blankets. It is always cold there. Other then that, all the assigned stuff is pretty much the same. A good coat would be nice, but they are hard to some by.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Brandon: there were no women in our jail
