Interview with Brandon

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Brandon: For the most part, I did not have any trouble with the inmates at any jail. The only people that I saw that had problems were the ones that refused to accept they were actually in jail, not still on the street.

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Brandon: I simpley kept to myself or the few people that I found along the way that I trusted. I never came across any times of problems or fights. Again, it is usually the people that refuse to believe they are acually in jail that cause the problems I did see.

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Brandon: In the beginning, I did not have a choice of who was my cellie. In total I think I went through 4 or 5 of them. I changed a couple times by choice, someone I meet was better then the cellie I had, but most of the time I stayed in one until they moved me or my cellie left the jail in general.
