Interview with Dave

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Dave: lucky for me i was actually placed in a jail cell with someone from my niegborhood he actually was also arrested with me when the warrant unit swept our neighrborhood

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Dave: i just basically kept my head down,i am already a small guy standing at 5'5" and weighing 135,i did not speak out of turn and i did not bust people in line,also i pretty much stayed around the guys that was in my cell majority of the time when we was out for tv break and meal time

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Dave: no i was place in cell,i changed roommates about every seven n months sometimes roommates left because of behavior problems or being released,but the one guy i knew stayed my cell mate the entire time i was there
