JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Dave: they had a library,rec yard,tv room,computer
room,basketball court i really spent most of my time
in the library i actually was quite surprised to see
one of the inmates had started a yoga group during
yard time,they had a large cooking facility which i
saw rarely only when i was on cleaning duty
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Dave: yes there was a tv room as well as computers for
furthering your education,also as i said i spent a
lot of time i the library reading and helping
out,as far as the tv goes it really was a
democracy type things whoever was there first that
what you watched if someone had an objection they
would ask who wanted to see it or not
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Dave: no as i said before i am a small guy anyway,but i
never really had a chance to over ate so i did not
have to work out not even to pass time
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Dave: i went outside once a day i worked in the library so
most of time was spent there,when i was outside i
actually did yoga believe it or not a lot of us did
yoga
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Dave: yes ,they had services for several different
religions,i did not attend any because i do not
believe in organized religion
