Closing Advice

Interview with Karina and Taylor

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Karina: Call and check on them. If you have someone who is in there and you know they have a medical problem or mental problem, continuously call and check on them. That will make the officers stay on their toes with that person.
Taylor: try to wear white socks.

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Karina: Don't go. If you do go you will want to have some sort of support because if you don't have anyone to send you money or write, or people you can call, it will make the time a whole lot worse.
Taylor: just sit and chill or try to get out. if you cant then play cards watch tv and make friends.

JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Karina: Berkely, South Carolina Charleston County, South Carolina
Taylor: none.
