Interview with Tommy
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Tommy: Yes, you get "good time" taken off of your sentence.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Tommy: I believe that you get 8 days off of every month
for good behavior, I don't think there is an upper
limit beyond that.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Tommy: To get good time taken away you would have to get
into a fight with another inmate or guard, or be
caught with some kind of contraband in your cell
when they do cell checks. I never personally saw
anybody lose their good time.
