Clothing

Interview with Patrick

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Patrick: You were allowed three T-shirts, three pairs of sock and three pairs of underwear and a pair of " Long Johns".

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Patrick: The clothing you were given was simple being a a pair of clothe type pants and shirts and it was colored coded based on your security level. Red being violent and orange being medium and white for kitchen workers.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Patrick: Everyone would always look for clothing that was "newer" looking. They tended to avoid the worn out clothing if at all possible.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Patrick: The clothing was the same for both men and women.
