Good Behavior

Interview with Todd and Antwon

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Todd: no i had state time which caused me to have to stay in the county jail until i got moved to prison which in my case took 7and a half months of county time straight before going to finish out my sentence
Antwon: No.Mobile County doesnt let anyone out early for good behavior. The longer they can hold you there the more money they make even though they are way over capacity.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Todd: im not sure it really depends on what you have done and how much time you have to do and alot of other contributing factors like for instance if youyr judge is a nice judge or if you get people in the jail to put in a good word for you
Antwon: You can receive no time for good behavior

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Todd: following orders and not causing disruptions in the wedge or pod where you are housed at
Antwon: The only thing similiar is if you got to work at the jail barracks and you get your sentence cut in half. Those who got in trouble were kicked out of the program and had to do their original sentence.
