Interview with Rodney
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Rodney: No, I was affiliated with gangs so I got involved
with some riots and things which they don't look
too kindly on.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Rodney: If you have violent crime charge you do 85%. All
the other charges carry half time. For every day
that you do without getting into trouble you get
a day credit.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Rodney: Most common reason they take away half time is
violations of title 15 rulebook: smoking,
fighting, you name it if it's in the rulebook
they are going to write you up.
