JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Max: Yes, I got out 4 months early. Served 8 months
on a one year sentence.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Max: 4 months off a year. A "jail year" is 8
months.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Max: It is basically assumed that you will get the
time off unless you do something really bad in
jail, or if the judge orders that you can't get
the time off.
