Interview with Gary
JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Gary: It was very hard to be around the inmates, most of them are
crazy and have a terrible mentality about life and have no
goals, just how to get their next score and I can't be around
people like that
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Gary: I really had never had any issues with other inmates. The
other inmates that always had something to prove I would just
not associate with them, and I'm kinda big so I never had any
problem with people trying to start trouble, just stay easy from
it and you have no problems
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Gary: No, I was assigned to whoever came next in. I had 3 different
cell mates who where all "normal" thankfully. They all stayed
for about a month each and then they would go.
