Eric: I had no problem at all. I always a person you can get along with. I fact I was an inforcer. I was the one to give out certain violations.

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Eric: I always tried to stay busy. I always was enrolled in college. And I always had a work assignment. I often wnt to the gym to work out. I played on the state softball team. You couldn't do that if you stayed in trouble all the time. And I prayed.

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Eric: Yes I could put in for cell change and vica versa. Sometimes once you get your friend in with you things change. So I beleive I had At least 7 cellmates.
