Interview with Kristen, Grant and Enrique

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Kristen: I don't understant
Grant: They call them 'pods'. There are 12, I think. Unless you have work detail or work release you NEVER leave the pod, everything happens there; meals are brought in, you shower there, everything.
Enrique: they where 6 blocks including upstairs

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Kristen: I don't know
Grant: just letters, "A" etc.
Enrique: block A, B, C, D E , F and the basement

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Kristen: violent,drugs
Grant: They kind of separate violent and non-violent offenses, there is a pod for inmates granted work release, and one pod is rented out to the state for the overcrowded state prison
Enrique: gangs where block c through D block,30 days or more where housed in Block A and F,30 to 60 days where housed in block A and B with violent ones in lockdown

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Kristen: some of the people smelled
Grant: they are all exactly the same far as I know
Enrique: the nicest parts where A and B because everyone therer keep there cells up free of trash and toliet issues, but not everyone cleaned themselves up,the other blocks smelled and where dirty and at times inmates keep there cells unsanitary and dirty ,but, you where responsiable of keeeping your ownn space clean and tidy a jail rule
