Visitor Policy

Interview with Kristen, Grant and Enrique

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Kristen: everyday
Grant: varies, usually once a month
Enrique: you could recieve visotors once a week ,usually on sundays ,but only about 15 to 30 minutes

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Kristen: yes it bugged my mother
Grant: yes
Enrique: the check in process was lenghty ,they had to be searched,idetifcation checked and then be on the inmate list of visotors,you where escoursted and called when your visotr arrived.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Kristen: casula
Grant: there is a visiting room attached to the pod, inmates are still in the pod and visitors are outside the pod, with a clear wall between
Enrique: the visiting enviornment was through a plexiglass windows ,no contact allowed and passing items or contraband is prohibited ,you had to talk through a whole in the window and you had to keep profanity or any physically aggresiion away from visitation or you would have that right taken away untikl firther notice,
