Interview with Deidre
JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Deidre: That the jail does not provide necessitites for
an inmate. That you should take your loved one
shampoo, soap, deoderant, lotion, a razor, and a
blanket along with clothing and a pillow.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Deidre: To get someone on the outside or a family member
to be looking out for them. They will need
regualar things that they would need at home,
and they could go without medicines they need
for mental illness if they do not have an
advocate and that they still could.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Deidre: I have never been to a rehab, I do not have a
drug problem. I was in Muscle Shoals Jail for
three weeks sitting out a fine after my
incarceration at Colbert County.
