Interview with Deidre

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Deidre: There were four cells in one long block.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Deidre: Cell One, Two, Three and Four , that is it.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Deidre: Cell One, had the trustee, and whomever she wanted in her cell. Others were changed quite a bit. Sometimes a person who was unstable would be in a cell to themselves.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Deidre: Well, Cell One had privelages that others didn't get. That had many different items of food and drink, along with other items like clothing and razors, nail clippers, ice in a cooler and such. Cell One would sell snacks to other inmates, but the other cells were about the same.
