Interview with Brittany and Jordan

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Brittany: Orange jumpsuit, very comfortable, with flip flops, socks, underwear, sports bra and a white t-shirt to wear under the jumpsuit. We got a clean jumpsuit twice a week. There was everyday veryday ready access to clean towels, sports bras and underwear. They also had plenty of feminine hygiene items. Trustees of the unit would do laundry because there was a washer and a drier.
Jordan: Not much as most of it is confiscated and they give you the standard gear to wear

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Brittany: Orange jumpsuit.
Jordan: It was a standard jumpsuit that was comfortable enough and plain white socks and plain shoes. Typical standard and uniform clothing and not much to repot about it

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Brittany: No
Jordan: It was pretty standard and not much different because they I guess didnt want other stuff cause of gang colors

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Brittany: The men wore orange in the main jail. Honor farm blue, navy blue or white if trustee and women wore yellow.
Jordan: It was pretty similar in terms of being a standard jumpsuit
