Visitor Policy

Interview with Clinton and Tyrone

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Clinton: Three times a week if you're a worker, for 1/2 hour.
Tyrone: Two 30 minute visits each week.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Clinton: Yes. It depended on what guard is working. Some guards only allow one person up at a time. So the visitors are spending a lot of time waiting that way.
Tyrone: You have to have a legal ID, so my mom couldn't visit me in the jail because she isn't a U.S. resident.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Clinton: Behind glass, not comfortable.
Tyrone: A big room with 3 booths with a wall between the visitor and the inmate.
