Interview with Jenna, Diane, Norman and Andrea

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Jenna: jail is not meant to be nice - it is punishment don't worry about it more than you already have - life may not be good or fair - be glad that they are alive - hopefully the one you care for will be scared straight - hahahah - if not at least you know its like learning a vocation - maybe they will be able to find a crime that is more suited for them so they won't get caught next time hahahaha
Diane: Wear plain white underpants and plain white socks and you should be able to keep them. Keep to yourself don't get involved with anyone.
Norman: to let them know they will definitely need money for food and supplies while in there because they will need it if they wanna make it thru it without really being miserable
Andrea: i would suggest having funds ready & available as soon as possible, because you are going on staff time-line & unreasonable or extremely slow jail-staff, call before visits to not waste your time driving & not being able to see your friend or family

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Jenna: relax - think of it as a mini-vaction - how often in adult life can you be completely taken care of. make new friends, learn from their experiences - where else in the world are you given this opportunity so many crimes to learn about & from
Diane: Yes, don't get arrested this is not a place you want to be, It was the worst experience of my life and I never want to go through it again.
Norman: be prepared because it is going to be very hard! and try to stay outta trouble and not to ruffle any feathers otherwise the time they have to serve is going to be even harder
Andrea: do your visitation list first thing, bring your under clothes that are allowed, if at all possible, try to have your account set up before going in. remember to write down all numbers & addresses you will need to communicate with your loved ones
