Good Behavior

Interview with Jenna, Diane, Norman and Andrea

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Jenna: no - as i said earlier i was in with people that were sentenced days - gain/good time was unavailable
Diane: no
Norman: yes i did i earned all my gain time i was entitled to
Andrea: yes i was released early for good behavior & taking on extra duties

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Jenna: i do not have the slightest idea
Diane: not sure
Norman: 10 days gain time per month
Andrea: the most at the time was 10 days maximum

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Jenna: i would imagine for the people that are sentenced more than a month - no fighting - or no making threats - things of that nature
Diane: fights, arguments which is very hard in a place like this, no one wants to see you get out before they do.
Norman: you need to follow all rules not get any write ups or get into ANY kind of trouble at all or they take it from you
Andrea: you have to do everything the guards tell you, don't talk - either all stay on bed - or all stay on floor people would regularly lose time, for infractions like having food in the cell that was not commisary
