Interview with Bee, Anthony and Clarence

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Bee: The women had 2 blocks that have NO WINDOWS at all. Our blocks C & D and the only difference is that one side has cells and the other side a group living community.
Anthony: 4 pods on the 6th floor the 5th was women and i think there were 4 pods there aswell the 4th floor was 2 pods the 3rd was seg and medical
Clarence: Four. We didn't often see the inmates in the others.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Bee: They had names but I forgot their names.
Anthony: they were based on there location like 6 nw 6 ne etc.
Clarence: I don't believe they did. If so, i can't remember the names.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Bee: Inmates that had children or sucked up the most could go to the open area block which was supposed to be a privilege. I had a cousin that was an inmate on that side and she got me over there but I chose to go back to my cell on the other side.
Anthony: the 6th floor was like the gangbangers and younger people the 5th was women the 4th was the older guys the 3rd was medical and seg the 1st and 2nd was classification and dorms
Clarence: As far as I know, all the same type of inmates. Being that I didn't see or interact with the men in the other blocks, I don't know what type of inmates they were.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Bee: In block C of course the freedom to move around is a great thing but that is what the worse was for me. I don't like big groups of people so that made me nervous and paranoid. I liked Block D because I sat in my cell all day.
Anthony: the 6th floor had the outdoor rec and more people my age the 1st was classification but had no rec area and people were coming and going every day as the went to there different floors seg sucked cause it was 23 hour lock down 1 hour out a day and the 2nd sucked cause it was dorms and the had a lil room for rec that you could walk circles in
Clarence: Again, I didn't see the men in any other blocks, so don't really know the best & worst about the other blocks. From what I was told, some are inhabited by guys who've been in for a long time & have become "in charge", or at least in their minds.
