Interview with Krystal
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Krystal: you are not allowed to bring in any clothes if you
had on a bra, socks, and underwear you could keep
them on.If you were sentenced and doing weekends you
couldn't have any of those things at all.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Krystal: It was a shirt and pants with flip flops and they
had 3 different colors. Misdemeaner was green and
white felony was orange and white and sentenced were
black and white.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Krystal: no not really some uniforms that may have been
wanted more were the newer ones because the older
ones were torn and faded.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Krystal: no it was the same.
