JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Grant: It's not rehabilative at all you are not
corrected you are housed and treated like cattle Will: Try to visit as often as possible. If possible, get a pair of nice
clothes to your loved one so he can have a pair for court. Deshawn: The thing I would say is support the person going in, because
that's all we have in there is those little things like visits, writing
letters back and forth, accepting our calls when we call. Just
try not to forget about the person going in. Wes: it's not a joke it gets tough in there
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Grant: learn something, earn something, change
something, make the experience benifit you Will: Keep in touch with your family at least once a week and find a
"hobby" to keep you occupied. Also, make sure you communicate
any issues to the guards. Deshawn: Well if you really want me to be honest I would tell them if they
know that they are going in swallow some drugs and shit them
out and do what we no what to do is hustle. I no people and
that's what we do, especially if I no I'm going in. Drugs in there
quadruples in there and you will have what ever you want in
there.. Wes: just be you and mind your business
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Grant: none Will: ACI Providence RI Deshawn: South bay house of correction, Wes: Nashua Street Jail
