Interview with Girliegirl, Paul, Tyler, Tom, Ryan, Zach and Pat
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior? Girliegirl: Yes Paul: i was sentenced 15 days but got 5 day knocked off
for good behavior. Tyler: Yes, Oakland County Jail offers one day good
behavior for each 6 days served. Tom: no there was no goodtime just five days off every
month. Ryan: yes. i didn't have any problems keeping my good
time. Zach: Yes. Of an 11 month sentence, I served 7. Pat: 30 day sentence with 5 days good time. I served
25 days.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior? Girliegirl: I'm not sure. Paul: I have no idea. Tyler: One day for each 6 days served. Tom: five days for every month you do. Ryan: a month and a half. for a previous stay. Zach: Of 7 days, you will serve 5. Pat: 5 days per month.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior? Girliegirl: Do what you're told, don't fight, keep a job in
jail, and no contraband. Paul: do what your suppose to do, don't get in fights!!! Tyler: Stay out of trouble. Follow all the rules. Tom: theres really nothing you can do to loss the five
days you get them automaticly but i heard they can
take the five days but i never seen it happen. Ryan: Getting into fights with other inmates. Or arguments
with the deputies. any kind of altercation with
anyone within the facility. or destruction of the
jails property. Zach: I did not personally witness someone lose their
good time, but avoiding assaults and contraband
tickets seems ideal. Pat: Not that I am aware of.
