Interview with Ryan and Kathryn

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Ryan: you were not allowed to bring anything in. the socks and underwear you had on was all you would get. they would give you 3 jumpsuits and if you wanted more you had to buy it from commissary.
Kathryn: Undergarments, sports bras and underwear had to be whote, No wires. Grey sweats, white tshirts

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Ryan: It was a thick one peice jump suit that buttoned down the middle. You HAD to wear it if you left your block for any reason. otherwise most people wore their sweats.
Kathryn: No uniforms

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Ryan: Everyone wanted the sweat pants and sweat shirts, but you weren't assigned anything. You were only given the 3 jumpsuits you had to buy or be given everything else.
Kathryn: No

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Ryan: no. We both wore the same jumpsuits
Kathryn: No
