JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Mary: Just take it day by day. realize its not the end
of the world and if you just abide by the rules
you will get out sooner. the time will fly by
fast. as for family, just be there for them.
listen to them. listen to their frustrations.
listen to their cries, etc... D Bo: Please get them out of there as fast as you can. Joel: Just know that we have one of the safest jails in
the country. Everything should be just find as long
as they stay out of trouble. Also most officers are
good people Trevor: Bring a lot of money for commissary, make sure you
have someone on the outside who can argue for you
because the guards may or may not care if you live
or die
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Mary: do your time smartly. be careful. make friends
not
enemies. realize that it will be over sooner than
you realize. D Bo: You need to send someone to the hospitol the first
time someone disrespects you because if you dont
you will be robbed and taken advantage of the
whole time your in there. Joel: Just mind your business and pray. Hopefully, it'll
all be over soon. What doesn't kill you only makes
you stronger. Don't allow anyone to make your time
harder than it already is. Trevor: bring some thermal underwear and try to bargain
for books with other inmates because it's really
the only way to pass the time, also one should
push to have some sort of phone card
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. D Bo: Cook County, CBCF, Franklin County. Joel: None
Trevor: I've been to Billingsly road Detox in Charlotte,
Anuvia Detox in Wilksboro , NC a Detox in
Downtown San Fransisco and in the Watauga, NC Jail
for 10 days
