Leisure Time

Interview with Mary

JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Mary: There is nothing at this jail for leisure. It is a dump, they do not care about you having leisure you are locked up and that is it! you can use an old deck of cards or buy games off the canteen but who wants to do that and wait 4 or 5 days on something that is not even going to be used or taken with you when you are let out

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
