JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Russ: no you could not have medications taken from home or prescribed, this made it a horrible situation for those of us who deal with chronic pain. and other pain related issues, diabetics received there meds no problems, no narcotics allowed,

JM: How did you get your medications?
Russ: i did not relieve meds due to them all being related to pain control. thus i had to go through withdrawal i feel this was unfair and not a good thing to do for those who suffer real pain. it could have been monitored and given by the staff, instead so many suffered.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Russ: i witnessed pot coming in but the weird thing is it came in via CO, and special inmates who were what you call "tight" with certain co's as well certain other staff, there were some privileged inmates,
