JM: How many different blocks were there? Dan: there was only 4 levels Hugh: There were over 20 different cell blocks Wendy: I only seen two, male and female.
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they? Dan: there was x block and then y block and then the
jcare unit and the x and y is for inmates and the
the jcare unit is for the extreme sex offenders Hugh: A-d pods south north east and west 1-1
through 4-4 example west 4-2 Wendy: I think they had letters, not really sure but it
was on the doors.
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks? Dan: x and y was anyone that came into the jail and
needed to be housed and the the jcare unit is for
the sex offenders that are dangerous and there
getting in jail treatment Hugh: The workers were assigned to b pod and
misdemeanor violations were housed by
seriousness of charge where d pod is the
worst and then the major felony
violations were housed in rollover
according to charge Wendy: In my block majority were there for driving
without license, but majority were non violent
charges because I heard everyone conversing
about what happen to land them in jail that
night.
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? Dan: there was nothing nice and worst about the blocks
they all was the same some blocks had girls and then
the other had boys but they was housed different and
i was never in the jcare unit i just heard about it
but i wouldn't want to go up to see it Hugh: There was not many nice parts
throughout the jail except the worker
pod would get two trays of food and was
out of the cell most of the time. Pods
you are in your cell 23 hours a day and
rollover depending on what block you
would either be locked up most of the
time or in a dorm Wendy: I don't think there was anything nice except
that the jail had cable TV. what I didn't like
about the jail is the un sanitary conditions as
far as the toilet the water and some other
people's food was molded. some of the staff
talk to you like crap really bad.
