Interview with James, Jerry and Troy

JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
James: Tv, showers, books, wreck room
Jerry: For where I was housed you got a hr of tv time a day A a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a
Troy: None! A tv that was the sound was turned off and only close caption, that was about it. We would walk round the whole table area and talk is about it. One day we were allowed in another room that had a open ceiling is all i remember, nothing else.

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
James: Yeah, I guess you could say that I didnt have problems, I didn't compete with anyone i avoided confrontation
Jerry: For the 16 people on the block I was housed on an only three phones it was a struggle from what I witnessed to get to a phone first A a a a a a a a a a a a a a q q q q a a a a
Troy: Entertainment? No, was allowed to go to church service and several other guys followed. Other than that nothing was offered. We were allowed to buy things on account ie food items etc. of which i did from the money witheld that was in my pocket at the time of arrest.

JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
James: NOPE you have a ton of free time to do that in your room
Jerry: No I was working out almost all day in my cell I had. Had to keep myself busy to pass the time
Troy: Would have as nothing was allowed for excersise at the time. All we did was eat walk around the room and sleep.

JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
James: Never, I didn't go outside at all
Jerry: I was not aloud to go out side. If I wanted to exercise I had to use the space inside my cell what little space I had
Troy: None, not an option. We only walked around the room is all. Saw some guys do sit up's in the bunks they were asigned is all.

JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
James: I didn't attend any but I think there were
Jerry: They did but was unable to attend due to me being on lock down A a a a a a a
Troy: Yes and made a joke of it like no one would attend. When i got up to sign the sheet many followed, the gaurds were appauld so many would sign up. The service was like a mini service and was encouraging at the time. Highly recommend!
