Interview with Mark

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Mark: you get three meals a day.breakfast,lunch,dinner.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Mark: somerset co is the worst jail as far as food.they give you the state minimum for every mea.very small portions.its hard making it from diner to the next morning when you get breakfast.they have a cart that they push the food trays on,and it will sit in the elevator until its luke warm, and then they give you your food and its almost never hot, barely warm, sometimes cold.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Mark: i liked stromboli night,i liked the oatmeal day bc those meals actually fill you up,they have a liver tray and its something i would not feed my dog, thats how a lot of the meals are in somerset jail.down rite gross.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Mark: yes, they have commissary available once a week, ypu can only order a certain amount of food thou, they have a 50 dollar order, that for your hygeine, food, clothes.and it is very very expensive.a candy bar is 1.79,and the chips they get you are always stale, and have wholes in the bags a lot of the times.
