Meals

Interview with Isaac

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Isaac: 3 meals per day breakfast lunch and dinner

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Isaac: I would rate a 3 on a scale 1-10. it wasn't real good. The bread was always dry and everything was bland. I ate cause I was hungry, but I enjoyed the fruit cups when they had them. But at least we got food at the same time everyday. I liked the fruit.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Isaac: Fruit was good usually, cant mess that up. Sometimes we would get a bologne sandwich. Believe it or not, it was pretty good.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Isaac: Commissary was expensive. Those ramen noodles were $1 a pack. You can get them for 25 cents in the store. The snacks were good. Cakes, cookies, soup, cheese and crackers were my favorite. Esp the honey buns.
