Interview with Virginia and Shaun

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Virginia: whatever you had on when you were arrested, unless you prepared to come in that case youd dress to stay warm
Shaun: I would have brought ev=xtra underwear and socks because the ones they give you arent very good

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Virginia: you do after your there a few days it was a orange jump suit and orange flip flops and the underwear you came in with
Shaun: Sweat pants sweat shirt tshirt underneath longjohns if its the winter time.. extra socks and a knit cap for the winter bc it gets cold inside there

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Virginia: women sometimes liked getting tight uniforms to show off their figure but i didnt care.
Shaun: tennis shoes. because they are needed. most of the inmates walk all day back and forth

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Virginia: no they are the same
Shaun: I dont know what the women wore.
