Interview with Seth, Ellen and Isaac

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Seth: none the only you wear is the clothes you are issued when you get to the jail
Ellen: EVERYTHING HAS TO BE WHITE. TSHIRT SHOES SOCKS. BRA NO UNDERWIRE AND TANK TOPS WERE OK
Isaac: Socks, underwear and a t-shirt if and only if they are white. Otherwise you will not have any of these items for the duration of your stay. You were also allowed to keep your shoes.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Seth: blue uniform you tell them what size you wear and you will get the wrong size every time especially when they change out on mom wed and fridays
Ellen: IT WAS A DARK BLUE SCRUB UNIFORM ALWAYS SMELLING BURNT LIKE IT WAS DRIED TOO LONG AND USED NO DETERGENT. IT HAD THE SIZE IN BIG WHITE LETTERS ON THE BACK ALONG WITH CENTER NAME
Isaac: We were given a pair of pants and a shirt, both blue and made of somewhat thick synthetic material. The shirts had really shirt sleeves and did nothing to keep your arms warm. Shower shoes (sandals) were also issued.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Seth: no in jail you do not get to choose what kind of clothes you wear
Ellen: IF YOUR A MAN MAKE SURE TO GET THE JEANWEAR AND GREEN TSHIRT. THE WOMEN HAVE TO WEAR THE SAME CLOTHES REGARDLESS BUT THE MEN HAVE MORE LEADWAY FOR SOME REASON
Isaac: None of the clothes were in high demand, they were also relatively the same.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Seth: no they wore the same kind of colors
Ellen: YES ITS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE
Isaac: Men and women wore the same uniforms.
