Good Behavior

Interview with Ben and Laura

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Ben: One time I was in for a month or so I did the Trustee program and got out a little earlier then my original release date. But when I got my 7 month sentence I was in state jail and unable to get out early.
Laura: I got out early only because my parents bonded me out.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Ben: I have no clue, in Lubbock County Jail I remember you can get credit for 2 days every 1 day if you were in the Trustee program.
Laura: I don't know anything about behavior based reprieves.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Ben: No fighting or disobbeying the guards. No damage to the cell property.
Laura: I would assume that you would need to avoid fighting and mouthing off to the pod officers if you want to be rewarded for good behavior.
