Interview with Ben and Laura

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Ben: Everytime I was able to get visits, my girlfriend came anytime they let her.
Laura: I think twice in the morning and twice in the evening for twenty minutes, but I'm not sure.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Ben: My girlfriend said they searched you and did a background check of some sort before you got to come in, but she said it wasnt that bad.
Laura: Not at all. They merely had to present their identification to the officers at the front desk and they were able to sit down and visit with me.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Ben: The cells I was in were uncared for and nasty with the viewing window being small and dirty or the phones to speak to your family/friends with didnt work properly.
Laura: It was like a 20 minute Skype session. We each picked up a telephone and talked to each other via video chat. It may not sound very personal but those 20 minutes were precious when you hadn't seen that person in a long time. Skyping had never been so special before.
