JM: How often could you receive visitors? Tim: We could have visitors every weekend, three contact
visits and one behind the glass. One. Sherri: Two a week I can't remember the hours or days we could
have visitors. I was also allowed nothing from the vending
machine like others were allowed Brett: I received one visit in a little over a month there visitations
wasn't that bad
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you? Tim: Yes. My parents were thoroughly searched and at one
instance my mother was told she couldn't visit me
because she was wearing sandals, so she had to visit
a store to buy shoes. Sherri: I was told so I was behind glass with my parents and aunt n
uncle. They were patted down and drivers lc were checked
upon arrival. Brett: Yes my father in law said it took him over two hours to get a 15
minute visit with me it was just ridiculous the wait just for a visit
JM: What was the visiting environment like? Tim: Tables very close to each other, forced to be in an
open room with many inmates and their families. We
were allowed vending machine items such as potato
chips, candy, soda, and doughnuts. Visits were two
hours. I really don't have anything else to say
that would fill the required words. Sherri: Just behind glass on the phone talking to them I was patted
down entering and leaving the room. My visitors were patted
down outside too I was excorted by two guards and told to
walk along the wall if I stepped over a green line to my left I
was taken back and no visit would take place. Brett: It was like talking to a caged dog over a dirty phone and
having a lot of other people looking at you listen to your
personal conversation and being rushed away soon as the 15
minutes was up and on top of all that the person on the other
end just waited over two hours for the visit so they are already
aggrieved
